Legal Affairs and Risk Management provides a coordinated framework for units within Administration and Finance engaged in compliance assurance and institutional risk management.    This combination of functions offers a focused approach to legal and policy matters affecting the campus and enables consideration of compliance and risk issues in assessing institutional initiatives.  

Legal Affairs and Risk Management brings leadership and operational oversight to Affiliated Organizations, the Georgia Tech Police Department and the Office of Legal Affairs, and administrative oversight to Internal Auditing.   It has convened a campus-wide Compliance and Risk Management Network to identify and monitor risks to the institution and develop guidance to executive leadership in assessing and mitigating institutional risks.
