Mia Reini is the Director of Enterprise Risk Management for the Georgia Institute of Technology. In this role, Ms. Reini works with senior leadership to help mitigate risk and facilitate compliance at the Institute.
Ms. Reini has overseen the Compliance & Risk Management Network and managed the Georgia Tech Risk Inventory since arriving at Georgia Tech in 2011. During 2012, Ms. Reini launched both the Georgia Tech Policy Library and the Institute Policy Steering Committee. In 2014, Ms. Reini created the Compliance Partners Group to monitor and assess the Institute’s compliance risks. In 2017, Ms. Reini launched Youth Programs at Georgia Tech, a new youth protection compliance program for minors on campus.
Prior to her position with Georgia Tech, Ms. Reini launched and directed the university policy governance framework for the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. Ms. Reini has also led state court educational media programs nationwide for The Federalist Society in Washington, D.C., recruited international leaders for Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and practiced commercial litigation for Jones Day law firm in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Reini received her bachelor's degree from Harvard University and her juris doctor, cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law, where she was a senior member of the American University Law Review. Ms. Reini is licensed to practice law in New York and Massachusetts.
